Access to CAN
Agency Participation
Agencies interested in utilizing the CAN system should review the Agency Participation Information. Please note that access to the CAN client database is reserved for non-governmental organizations directly involved in recovery case management. Other agencies seeking client information should contact their FEMA Regional Office. It can take up to ten (10) business days for the agency to go through the verification process once all of the necessary documents have been received.

Case Manager Access
Case Managers seeking access to the CAN client database should review the Case Manager Access Information. Please note that in order to obtain access to the CAN system, Case Managers must be associated with an agency that has an approved CAN Agency Client Registry Participation Agreement. It normally takes up to four (4) business days for accounts to be activated once the Case Managers complete and fax their signed Confidentiality form and register online.
